National Teachers Institute(NTI) has distributed about 24 vehicles to State Coordinators across the country to enable them carryout their field work efficiently.
The Director General of the institute,Dr Aminu Ladan Sharehu, who distributed the cars, said one vehicle will be given to a zonal and state coordinator.
Sharehu said the vehicles will enable the field officers to carry out their functions efficiently.
The DG also commissioned centres such as; Strengthening Mathematics and Science Education Multipurpose hall, E-learning Centre, Centre, Centre for Strengthening Mathematics and Science Education (SMASE), integrated Science Laboratory and Fire Service unit of the institution located at Rigachikun, Kaduna-Zaria express way.
The Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof Vincent Ado Tenebe, commended the effort of the NTI DG.
Tenebe said the commissioning of the projects would lead to the betterment of teachers across the country.
