This is to inform all candidates that duly registered and participated in the University of Jos 2015/2016 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Screening Tests that the results of the test have been officially released by the Management of the University of Jos .
The UNIJOS 2015/2016 Post-UTME Results have been fully upload on the school website

ii.On the landing page, enter your Jamb Register Number and Access Code in the spaces provide

NECO Release June/July 2015 Results

NECO Release June/July 2015 Results. This is to inform all prospective candidates who wrote the National Examinations Council (NECO) 2015 June/July internal examination that their results have been released online.
The 2015 Neco result which was released on Thursday 10th September 2015 has been fully uploaded online, and it can be access from the council’s result checking portal.
The NECO Registrar, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, who announced the results on Thursday in Minna, said that 68.56 per cent of candidates got more than five credits this year.
He said that the 2015 result was an improvement from 2014 when 52.29 got above five credits.
Garba said that 969,491 sat for the examination out of the 969,991 candidates that registered.
He said that 0.11 per cent cases of malpractice were recorded, adding that the results of candidates involved have been cancelled.
The registrar said that the council was able to sustain its timely release of results in less than 60 days from the date the last paper was written.
“The 2015 examinations result was released within 60 days after the final paper. This shows a great success achieved by the council.
“Lists of schools which were involved in examination malpractice have been blacklisted and the results of students who wrote in such centres have been cancelled,” he said.

El Rufai abolishes admission fees in state owned tertiary institutions


Kaduna state governor, Nasir El REufai has abolished all forms of charges placed by the state owned tertiary institutions for the processing of admison to prospective students. Governor El Rufai abolished the admission charges during the state executive meeting. Samuel Aruwan, the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity who announced this in a statement said;
“Dr. Shehu Usman Adamu, the commissioner of education, announced the cabinet decision that henceforth admission forms and admission processes will be free in all tertiary institutions owned by the state government. Adamu said that under no condition should scratch cards be sold to admission-seekers for access to school portals.

He explained that council is persuaded that the aspirations of young people for admission into higher institutions should not be treated as a revenue source.

Adamu also conveyed the council decision that all non-teaching occupants of school quarters should vacate the premises within 90 days, while teachers transferred to other schools will have six months to give up their former quarters.
