 There is currently a message circulating via Whatsapp and text purportedly from a Federal Government agency claiming to be offering employment to people in the education field.

FG has not yet mandated any organization to recruit people for teaching or other employment.

Below is a copy of the message sent to my phone:

Four Federal Universities To Offer Welding Engineering In 2016


The president of the Nigeria Institute of Welding (NIW), Chief Solomon Edebiri has stated that four Federal universities in the country will begin offering Welding Engineering from next year.
The four federal universities are University of Benin, Edo State; Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta state; Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger state; and Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Bauchi State.

According to him, this development is a result of collaboration with the Petroleum Development Fund (PTDF).

He noted that the availability of competency in welding, inspection, fitting and machining and welding engineering will complete the quality loop needed in welding construction, fabrication and manufacturing.


FUNAI Post-Christmas Resumption Date Announced

In line with the 2015/2016 academic calendar, students of Federal University Ndufu-Alike (FUNAI) are expected on campus on Saturday 2nd January 2016.
The first semester lectures continues on Monday 4th January 2016.

The school portal is still open up till 31st January, 2016. Please endeavour to pay your School fees on/before this date to avoid the LATE REGISTRATION CHARGES.

LATE REGISTRATION PAYMENT Starts from February 1st, and Ends on February 22nd, 2016.

From 1st to 15th February, 2016, LATE REGISTRATION FEES of ₦3,000 will be added to the normal School Fees.

From 16th to 22nd February, 2016, LATE REGISTRATION FEES of ₦6,000 will be added to the normal School Fees.

Thereafter, the REGISTRATION PORTAL CLOSES!!!
