List of Universities that Accept Combination of O’Level Results

I learnt that so many prospective applicants do not have all the credits they need in one sitting in either WAEC, NECo, NABTEB, GCE. As a result of this, many of them may need to combine two sittings either from the same exam (WAEC & WAEC, WAEC & NECO, NECO & NECO, WAEC & NABTEB and so on).

Unfortunately, not all universities in Nigeria accept a combination of O’level result. So, you may need to research on those schools that accept it before you apply if you are planning to combine your result.
To ease the stress, I have compiled the list of all Universities that accepts combination of O’level results. We have done in-depth research that discovered that they do accept it.

See the names of universities that can allow you merge WAEC and NECO results.

Of course, the list is not complete and we will be updating it regularly once we are able to verify other schools. However, if you know any school that accepts two sitting of o’level result but not listed here, endeavour to submit it in the comments section below. We will be glad to add them accordingly.

Beware Of Scammers, NYSC Warn 2016 Batch ‘A’ Corps Members

The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to the activities of some hackers sending messages requesting prospective Corps members to go and check their states of deployment online.
They refer their victims to a link and ask them to enter their login details as well as choices made during their online registration. Management wishes to inform prospective Corps members that posting to states of deployment has not commenced; but will be done at the appropriate time in line with our laid down processes. The so-called “link” being sent to prospective Corps members is handiwork of cyber criminals and should, therefore, be disregarded.
Prospective Corps members are particularly warned not to make payments for posting or change of posting as that is clearly the motive of the cyber criminals. Management will inform prospective Corps members as soon as their posting letters are ready for printing online or delivery to their various institutions of graduation. While assuring the public that the situation is fully under control, we shall continue to take measures to safeguard the integrity of the Mobilization process.

NUC Granted Full Accreditation To 17 Courses in Plateau State Varsityf

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to 17 academic programmes of the Plateau State University, Bokkos.
This was made know to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Doknan Sheni, has said
He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bokkos, on Sunday, that the institution needed the accreditation to operate as a full-fledged university.
“For more than 10 years, we have been operating as if we are not a university; without one of our courses accredited.
“But thanks be to God, today all our 17 programmes in the four faculties have been accredited by the NUC,” he said.
The vice chancellor said t with the accreditation, the university would admit more than 1,000 students in the 2016/2017 academic year.
Sheni said the university had been admitting between 300 and 400 students but with the accreditation, it would be admitting between 1,000 and 3,000 applicants.
The vice chancellor lauded theTertiary Education Trust Fund for assisting in the infrastructural development of the university to the tune of N4 billion.
“Even though we need N5.6 billion for the completion of some ongoing and new projects to the desired infrastructural development, we have what it takes to admit more students now,” he said.
Sheni also commended the Chairman of the Governing Council of the University, Professor Attahiru Jega for the role he played in the accreditation of the programmes.

Auchi Polytechnic shut Down Indefinitely

The Auchi Polytechic has been shut down indefinitely following protests by academic and non-academic staff unions in the institution over alleged deductions in their salaries by the immediate past Rector of the institution, Dr. (Mrs). Phillipa Idogho.
Students of the polytechnic were asked to vacate the campus and return home as the strike embarked upon by the lecturers and the non-academic staff was not likely to end soon.
The situation left the Polytechnic literarily shutdown, as the protesting workers insisted that they will not return to work until the injustice meted out to them is corrected.
The union members barricaded the entrances to the polytechnic for several hours and shut many offices including the administrative building of the polytechnic.
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the institution was reportedly beaten up by angry workers when he attempted to prevent them from carrying out the protest.
Policemen, officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) and military personnel were deployed to the school to forestall a breakdown of law and order.
