Yobe State University Admission Into Diploma Programmes 2015/2016 Announced

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the following Diploma programmes of the Yobe State University for the 2015/2016 Academic Session:
2- Year Diploma in Social Policy and Administration (DSP)
2- Year Diploma in Crime Management, Prevention and Control (DCM)
2- Year Diploma in Environmental Chemistry (DEC)
2- Year Diploma in Computer Science (DCS)
2- Year Diploma in Shari’a and Civil Law (DSCL)
Entry Requirements
Candidates must pass three relevant O’ Level subjects at credit level in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE or their equivalent in examinations administered by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or cognate bodies at not more than two sittings. At least two credits must be relevant to the course applied for.
The Application Procedure
STEP 1:Make a non-refundable payment of N5,100.00 into Account name/Number: YSU CONSULTS STUDENT REGISTRATION/1750023771 at SKYE Bank Plc Damaturu Branch and obtain a scratch card for the application. Sales of scratch cards start from Monday 30th Monday, 2015.
STEP2:Visit: consult.ysu.edu.ng and click Diploma Application under the admission TAB at the home page. Provide all the information required and print acknowledgement slip for your personal reference.

To qualify for Degree programme at Yobe State University Damaturu, graduates of our Diploma programmes must remedy their O’ Level deficiencies. Candidates are enjoined to do so during the period of the Diploma studies so as to obtain the minimum entry requirement for degree programme of five O’ Level credits in relevant subjects.

MAPOLY 2015/2016 Resumption Date, Payment Deadline Announced

Authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta have announcedMonday, 14th December, 2015as resumption date for all Full-Time and Part-Time National Diploma and Higher National Diploma students of the Polytechnic for the First Semester 2015/2016 Academic Session.

TheMonday, 14th December, 2015resumption date will exclude only, students on the mandatory Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), who are expected back on campus onFriday, 5th February, 2016.

Meanwhile, the Institution’s Management has slated (Monday, 22nd February, 2016) as deadline for registration for the 1st Semester 2015/2016 Academic Session.

Any student, who fails to complete his/her registration by Monday, 22nd February, 2016, will be made to pay a late registration fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00), Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) or Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) only, as appropriate, failure of which will lead to the forfeiture of the studentship of such student for the session.

I met this beautiful damsel while serving(NYSC) in Imo State in 2013. She accepted to date me on one condition (NO S*X before marriage). I gladly accepted. Our love was a major gist in town because she is a beauty queen. I so much loved her with all my heart..She was a virgin and I so much respected her for that…I spent 75% of my allowee on her in addition with my personal savings…
On several ocassions, she lost control of herself during romance but as a gentleman, I kept my promise by not harvesting the forbidden fruit.. Her love for me grew stronger because of my self control. After NYSC, I relocated to Lagos in search of greener pasture. Things got tougher because jobs were extremely scarce. Still,I struggled to send her some money through her father’s first bank account (she was 18yrs then).
Once in a month, I travelled from Lagos to Owerri just to see her….Our love was so strong..But since inception of this year, things got pretty bad that I could not meet up with my routine travels to see her. After 3yrs, I got a job few days ago in an oil company and I was so enthusiastic to relay the good news to her….But to my greatest shock ever…She sent me an apology sms that she will be getting married next week…I was preparing for sunday service but the news automatically made me fell asleep. I Thought He Is A Friend, Now He Wants S*x For A Favour He Did

Dear Sir,
Please, how do I handle this situation, I am boxed in and I need your help. I have a male childhood friend, we have come a long way and we liked each other so much. We are neighbours and our parents and other siblings too are friends.
Sometime ago, while I was in 200 level in the university, I ran into a mess; I had to use my school fees to clear up the mess. When it was time for me to pay up my fees, I couldn’t tell my mother because apart from the fact that I couldn’t make up any story to take money from her; we lost my father.
Because of all these, I confided in my friend and he helped me to raise the money from his parents, I don’t know what excuse he gave them, because we attend the same school. He didn’t say he borrowed me, he said he gave me.
We are now in our final year, and for some time now, I have noticed a change in his attitude towards me; he is becoming unnecessarily close and he even asked that we date each other. I refused and explained to him that I have no such feelings for him and also the fact that he has dated two ladies that I know; one of them is my close friend.
I have always told him that I don’t have the time for dates and complications it could bring to my life now. Suddenly, he started asking for the money he gave me in 200levels. Knowing well that there is no way I can raise such money, I reminded him the fact that he gave me the money, he said he knew and that he wanted his money back or I should date and have s*x with him.
He is aware of the fact that I am a v*rgin, when I reminded him of this fact; I was shocked when he said that will be the best way to pay up my debt. I am sad about this situation and I can’t tell anyone. Please, help me, what do I do?
