Finally: NYSC 2016 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation To Commence Monday

National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2016 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence from Monday, June 13 to Wednesday, June 29 2016. Corps Members are urged to reprint their call-up letters.

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform all prospective Corps members that the President, Commander-in-chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved and released funds to the Scheme to hold its planned Orientation course.
Consequently, Management of the Scheme has scheduled the 2016 Batch A Stream 11 Orientation course to commence from MONDAY 13th JUNE to WEDNESDAY 29th JUNE 2016 Nationwide.
Prospective Corps members are expected to log on to the NYSC Portal to commence printing of their Call-up letters from TUESDAY, 7th JUNE 2016 by 12noon as the earlier printed Call-up letters are now invalid. While those who did not subscribe for online printing should start collection of Call-up letters from THURSDAY 9th JUNE from their various institutions of graduation.

Management also wishes to thank all stakeholders in exercising patience for this new date and wishes all prospective Corps members a hitch free orientation exercise.

The NYSC Management wishes to inform Prospective Corps Members that based on the assurances recieved from the Federal Government regarding release of funds, the 2016 Batch "A" (Stream II) Orientation Course will commence soon.
Prospective Corps Members are, therefore requested to watch out for the specific date for commencement of the exercise, which will be announced as soon as all necessary logistics are put in place.
Management empathizes with the affected Prospective Corps Members and appeals for continued patience even as all efforts are fast yielding results.

RAMADAN:NYSC DG Enjoins Corps Members to pray for the Nation

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps Brig. General Sule Zakari Kazaure, wishes to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah and in particular, our Serving Muslim corps Members nationwide on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing them a blessed and rewarding Ramadan Fast.
Brig. General Kaaure also calls for prayers for the Government and the Nation while urging Corps Members to rededicate themselves to selfless service to the Nation. He urged the Corps Members to strive to extend the frontiers of development across the country that the Government and good citizens of Nigeria will continue to appreciate their invaluable contributions to the Nation.
