This is to inform all the candidates invited for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) entrance examination that they are required to log on to the NDA Application Portal, choose the Examination Centreof their choice and print their acknowledgement forms and Examination Slip/Card. UI Former VC, Professor Tekena Tamuno is Dead

A former Vice chancellor of the University of Ibadan and one of Africa’s renowned professors of history, Emeritus Professor Tekena Tamuno has been reported dead.
He died on April 11th at the age of 83 years.
It was learnt that he recently came back from the United States of America where he was treated for prostate cancer before his demise.

Efforts to get his family member to comment on his death proved abortive as they blatantly refused to interact with the news men on the issue stating that the demise of the professor was a “private affair.”
The professor has been described as an extremely cerebral historian and foremost scholar of the humanities and man who had great faith in God by those who knew him.

All students of Obong University should note that the 2nd Semester of the 2014/2015 session has commenced as follows:

i) April 7, 2015-Students come into residence
ii) April 8, 2015-Registration begins for all students
iii) April 13, 2015- Lectures begin for all students
iv) April 24, 2015-Registration ends for all students (Two weeks of registration)
v) April 27, 2015 - Late Registration with penalty begins
vi) May 8, 2015-Late Registration with penalty ends(Two weeks of late registration with penalty).
Late registration attracts penalty of N10, 000.00.

Any student who does not pay school fees and register within the stipulated period of registration would be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn from the programme and the University.
