Authorities of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) have released an amended academic calendar for the continuation of second semester, 2014/2015 academic session that was distrupted by the striking lecturers of the institution.

Mimiko Appoints Oladunni, AAUA Pro-Chancellor

Mimiko appoints Oladunni as the new Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has approved the appointment of Otunba (Dr.) Solomon Oladunni as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.

In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Aderotimi Adelola, and signed by his Press Officer, Mr. Ayokunle lkusemiju, the appointment is to take effect from 13th January, 2016, while expressing confidence that the new Chairman and Pro Chancellor of the University will further boost the high standard of the 21st century university.

Important Notice to AKSU Fresh Students – 2015/16

Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU important notice to newly admitted students as regards payment of acceptance fee for the 2015/2016 academic session.

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) that the management of the institution has announced the deadline for the payment of the 2015/2016 academic session acceptance fee. Failure to pay before the deadline would be viewed automatically, as a forfeiture of admission.

AKSU acceptance fee payment deadline is Monday 08/02/2016.
Admitted students are to note that they are further required to obtain an official University payment receipt from the Bursary unit, after concluding the payment process in any branch of (1) Unity Bank (2) FCMB (3) UBA (4) First Bank of Nig. (5) Union Bank (6) Sterling Bank (7) GTB (8) Diamond Bank and (8) Access Bank of Nig. Plc.
All students who have concluded all such payment are to await further instructions on screening date and other requirement.

FUPRE Late Registration Deadline, Penalty – 2015/16

Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, FUPRE late registration deadline and penalty during and after late registration – 2015/2016 academic session.
This is to inform all the students of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) that the management of the university has announced the late registration deadline with penalty.
All students late registration for2015/2016 Academic Sessionwill commence onMonday, 1st February, 2016and ends on12th February, 2016with a late registration fee of₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) Only.
Registration thereafter attracts additional sum of₦10, 000 (Ten Thousand Naira)as recently approved by Senate. All students are thus enjoined to complete registration of their courses for2015/2016 Academic Sessionon schedule to avoid payment of the above charges.
Please note that failure to register your courses for any session amounts to voluntary withdrawal from the University.

UCH Ibadan School of Nursing Admission Form is Out 2016/17

University College Hospital, UCH Ibadan school of nursing admission application form for the 2016/2017 academic session is now on sale.
This is to inform the general public that the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan is inviting interested and suitably qualified members of the public to her 2016/2017 School of Nursing Admission in September 2016.
The General Entrance Examination Committee of the Hospital will conduct the entrance examinationon 9th April, 2016.Only candidates who attain acceptable standard at the examination will be considered for selection following an interview.
The course is for a period of three years, after which candidates will be presented for both the School and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Final Examination to qualify as registered Nurses (RN)
UCH School of Nursing Admission Requirements:
Interested candidates who should be aged 17 1/2years and above at the time of application, and possess the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate or its
equivalent with credit in at least 5 subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics. Only individuals with required credit passes at not more than two sittings from the same examination body may apply.
N.B: Candidates awaiting result need not apply please.
UCH Ibadan School of Nursing Method of Application:
Candidates should request for application forms from the 11th January, 2016 from the School of Nursing, UCH, Ibadan with:
(i) Non-refundable fee of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira only (#7,500.00) payable to UCH School of Nursing University College
Hospital, Ibadan Treasury Single Account. And present the teller to the school for receipt and collection of admission form..
(ii) Three recent passport photographs (Coloured but white background only). No application letter is required.
(iii) Two Stamped self Addressed envelopes measuring 22cm. x 10cm.
Completed application forms must reach the Principal of this School not later thanFriday 1st April, 2016.
The entrance examination comes up on Saturday 9th April, 2016.

ii. Change of Course Fee of N2,500 (for candidates admitted for courses other than what they registered for in JAMB-)
iii. Indigeneship Verification Fee of N10,000 (for Lagos State Indigenes ONLY)

While on the LASU E-Payment page, you are required to enter your UTME Registration Number in the Column marked with Matric Number/PaymentID/Application Number.
