Bowen University Admission Lists – 2016/17 [1st, 2nd & 3rd]

Bowen University first batch, second batch and third batch admission lists for the 2016/2017 academic session is out.
This is to inform candidates that participated in Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, 2016/2017 admission screening exercise the first batch, second batch and third batch admission lists have been released online.
Bowen University admission list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the university’s various degree programmes for the 2016/2017 academic session, and the provisional admission is subject to validation by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB-).

JAMB REGULARISATION:Candidates who did not choose Bowen as their choice university in JAMB will be required to pay a sum ofN6, 000 (six thousand naira only)to the Bursary for regularization of their choice of University, which have to be processed to JAMB. It is a mandatory requirement by JAMB.

How to Apply for FUTO Postgraduate Admission Form – 2016/17

Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO postgraduate admission application form for the 2016/2017 academic session is out.
The Postgraduate School, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for consideration for admission into the under – listed Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctorate Degree programmes for the 2016/2017 session Regular, Centre for Continuing Education(CCE), Centre for Women, Gender and Development Studies(CWGDS) and Institute for Erosion Studies.
FUTO Postgraduate Admission Requirements.
All candidates applying for any of the following postgraduate programmes must satisfy the basic matriculation requirements including English Language and Mathematics as required by the Department.
1. PGD
Candidates applying for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programme must possess any of the following:
1.
Higher National Diploma (HND) Upper Credit and above.
2.
Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline from FUTO or any other recognized university with at least a Third Class Honours.
3.
A good Bachelor’s Degree with at least a Second Class Honours in other related disciplines.
2. M.Sc, M.Eng, MPH
Candidates applying for the M.Sc programme must possess any of the following:
i. A first degree with at least a second class honours qualification with a minimum of 3.00 CGPA on a 5 Point Scale in the related area from FUTO or from any other recognized University.
ii. A Bachelors degree from a recognized university plus a PGD of not less than 3.50CGPA on a 5 Point Scale in the relevant area.
3. MBA
Candidates applying for the MBA programme must possess any of the following:
i. A good honours degree in the area of Science/Technology, Engineering and Management Technology from FUTO or from any other recognized university.
ii. Graduates with first degree from a recognized university and holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) with Postgraduate Diploma in the relevant area may apply for the MBA programme.
4. Ph.D
Candidates applying for the Ph.D programme must possess:
i) A Master’s degree with a CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 point scale or 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale or its equivalent in the relevant area from FUTO or any other recognized university.
Duration of FUTO Postgraduate Programmes.
i) Ph.D Programmes: A minimum of six semesters and a maximum of ten semesters for full-time and minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of fourteen semesters for part-time students
ii) M.Sc, M.Eng, MPH and MBA Programmes: Minimum of three (3) semesters and maximum of six (6) semesters for full-time and minimum of four (4) semesters and maximum of eight (8) semesters for part-time students
iii) PGD Programmes: Minimum of two (2) semesters and maximum of four (4) semesters for full-time and Minimum of four (4) semesters and maximum of six (6) semesters for part-time students.
How to Apply for FUTO Postgraduate Programmes.
Any interested candidate should pay a non-refundable fee of eleven thousand, three hundred naira (N11,300.00) only at any of the Deposit Money Banks (DMB) through the Remita Gateway on the Postgraduate application platform and then complete the online application at www.futo.edu.ng.
Documents to Submit for FUTO Postgraduate Programmes.
Candidates should forward the following relevant documents in support of their application to the Deputy Registrar/Secretary, Postgraduate School, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.

AAU Notice On Collection Of Statement Of Results

This is to inform all staff and students, especially graduands as well as the general public that the collection of Statement of Results from the Exams and Records Division of the registry Department by proxy will no longer be entertained.
Henceforth, only graduands are expected to present themselves for the collection of their statement of results.

(Updated) UNIABUJA Pre-Admission Screening Registration 2016/2017 Announced

This is to advise all candidates who selected University of Abuja as their first choice Institution in the 2016 JAMB UTME/DE to apply for Pre-admission Screening into undergraduate programmes of the University, for the 2016/2017 Academic Session. Candidates are to visit University’s Portal (www.unbuja.com) and submit their O’level result or/and credential for consideration for Direct entry through the portal University Web Portal (www.unibuja.com).
ELIGIBILITY
Only UTME/DE candidates who selected University of Abuja are eligible for Pre-admission Screening.
UTME candidates must have Score of 180 and made University of Abuja first choice Institution to be eligible for Pre-admission Screening.
Awaiting Result Candidates of the Senior School Certificate examinations can also apply and must update their results on the portal not later than Monday 26th September, 2016.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All Candidates for undergraduate studies in the University of Abuja must have obtained at least five (5) “O” level credits including English Language and Mathematics and three relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in WASC, NECO, NABTEC, GCE (Ordinary Level) or their equivalents.
UTME Candidates must meet the subject combination requirement
Candidates seeking for Direct Entry admission into any of the undergraduate Programmes must possess an Advanced Level Result, ONiD or HND with a minimum grade of Lower Credit, University Degree with minimum grade of third class or their equivalent.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. UTME candidates whose UTME or O’level subjects combination are not met may apply for a change for a change of course to another course whose requirements they have met, provided there are vacancies.
2. Each candidate shall bring along to the venue of the screening the following:
-Acknowledgement Slip/Receipt and Application Form Printout as it admits candidate to the physical interaction and sighting of original certificate screening at a later date.
-Original Certificate/JAMB Result Slip that bears candidates' passport photograph.
Direct Entry Registration Slip.
Candidates are to arrive at the screening venue by 9:00a.m.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Click Pre-admission Screening, print procedure to access sales of forms from the Portal, generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), make payment online (Form fee N2,500 plus 1% (₦25) Federal Government approved Remita processing charges) Fill form online, save and submit, print Pre-admission Screening Acknowledgement Slip/Receipt and Application Form Printout Online.
Please note the following:
Mix-up in the application by applicants would attract extra charges
Multiple applications are not allowed, but candidates who have applied for both UTME and DE, each application should paid for and forms filled in separately
Error in completion and submission of forms during the process of application would lead to loss of application processing for the academic session (e.g. selecting Economics Instead of Accounting.)
Statement of result of four (4) years and above will not be accepted for admission screening (candidate should therefore obtain certificate from the relevant examination body).
Pre-admission Screening Application fees is N2,500 (Two-thousand five hundred naira only) is non-refundable.
CLOSING DATE
The Online Screening Application form will close on Monday, 29th August, 2016 (Three weeks) at 11:59pm. Shortlisted candidates shall be published on the University Web Portal at a later date.
