BUK First Semester Mid-Semester Break – 2015/16

Bayero University, Kano, BUK first semester, 2015/2016 academic session mid-semester break has been announced.
The Senate of the BAyero University, Kano (BUK) at its 339th meeting held on Wednesday, 17th February, 2016 approved 17th – 22nd April, 2016 as the date of the First Semester 2015/2016 academic session mid-semester break.
A letter signed by the Registrar, Fatima Binta Mohammed, said the University Management has declared the week of 17th – 22nd April, 2016 as Lecture-free week and wished the students a happy break.

Application Forms for Basic Qur’an Course at BUK – 2016

Bayero University, Kano, BUK application forms for Basic Qur’an Course are now on sale.
This is to inform members of the University community that the Centre for Qur’anic Studies is organizing an intensive Qur’anic course for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Learners.
Interested members may obtain application forms at rate of N 500 at Khalifah Ishaqa Rabi’u Building, CQS, BUK.
The course is for a duration of two semesters to be conducted at weekends.
Registration fee is as follows:
Members of the University community – N 10,000
Others – N 20,000

The authority of the Kebbi State University of Science & Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA) Postgraduate School has released the second batch admission list for the 2015/2016 academic session.
KSUSTA postgraduate 2nd batch admission list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the university various postgraduate programmes.

1.Go to KSUSTA postgraduate admission status checking portal at http://www:status.pgform.ksustapgs.net /admstatus.php,
2.Supply your Application Number where required,
3.Click ‘Check Status’ to access your admission status.
Successfully admitted candidates are to print their admission letter from that same portal.

Below are the registration procedures for successfully admitted candidates:
*.Candidates are to report for Registration at the Postgraduate School Board Room, at the temporary site of the School within the University main campus.
*.Candidates are to come along with the originals and photocopies of all their credentials, birth certificate/declaration of age, Local Government Identification Letter, printed Online Provisional Offer of Admission, evidence of payment of ₦5,000 for acceptance feeand 12 copies of passport photographs.
*.Registration fee is ₦100,000 per session per student while foreign students are to pay additional 100% of tuition fees.
*.Students who wish to be accommodated in the University hostels are to pay additional ₦20,300 for bed space of two per room per session.
