Covenant University Produces 157 First Class Degrees As 1,495 Students Graduate

Covenant University at its 11th Convocation Ceremony held recently graduated a total number of 1,495 students.
It was learnt that about 157 of the students graduated with first class honours.
Deji Folutile emerged the best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.97.
Adressing the graduands whom he referred to as "Eagles", the Chancellor of the university, Bishop David Oyedepo, commended them for their effort and urged them to be relevant in the society and always remember God in their day to day activities.
In his words, “ I urge you newly released eagles o always remember God in your day to day activities as you launch into the world and always aim high.

UNILORIN Teaching Hospital ND & HND Admission Form – 2016/17

University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH ND and HND programmes admission forms for the 2016/2017 academic session are now on sale.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes of the School of Health Information Management admission for the 2016/2017 academic session.
UITH ND and HND Admission Requirements.
Applicants must be candidates who sat for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Conducted in March 2016.
The candidates must have a minimum score of 150 to be qualified to apply and to be screened
In addition to a minimum score 150 in 2016 UTME which requires any three subjects from Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Yoruba, Government and Religious Knowledge.
Candidates should also posses the West African School Certificate/General Certificate of Education/SSCE/NABTEBwith 5 passes at credit level in five (5) papers obtained at not more than two (2) sittings. These papers must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Sciences and any two Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Government, Geography, Religious Knowledge and any Nigerian language.
Admission Requirement/Educational qualification for Higher National Diploma Programme.
*.Applicant must meet the requirement for National Diploma Admission. He/She must possess National Diploma Certificate or Health Technician Certificate.
*.He/She must have evidence of one year Industrial Training.
Admission Requirement for National Diploma (Part-Time).
*.Applicant must meet the requirement of National Diploma Programme Admission and attach the appointment letter from his/her working place.

Applicants are to proceed to the UITH Ilorin website www uith.org. to download and print out the admission form Payment of N5,000 into UITH SCHOOL COMPLEX REVOLVING FUND ACCOUNT THROUGH REMITA.

*.Any candidate who fails to present himself or herself for the screening exercise as scheduled will not be considered for admission.
*.Applicant are advised to attend the exercise with the detached slip from their application forms as well as their writing materials.
*.The use of GSM and other electronic devices will NOT be allowed during the screening exercise.

MAUTECH Post UTME Registration Procedures.

Candidates are to visit the school official website on http://mautech.edu.ng/ and click on the POST UTME tab.

On the post-Utme page, click on new applicant. Enter your names, and a valid phone number (ensure that it is your phone number for it will be used in subsequent communication with you) and a confirmation code will be sent to your phone. Use the code sent to your phone to activate your account and you will be redirected to the login page.

Use your phone number (The one you entered earlier) as your Username as well as password. Confirm your information on the page and proceed to the payment page.

Put your ATM card number, the 3 digits behind the card and your ATM pin number and proceed to pay the total sum ofN2,300only. After a successful payment, you would proceed to fill your application form.

You are required to enter your personal information including your names and other relevant information. Upload your recent passport photograph with a plain background (JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size) and click on the‘Submit application’ button.

Note that before final submission of the application, you are to cross-check and ensure all the information are correct, because after the submission you cannot edit any of the information.

Print the Application Slip with the Serial Number on your slip now your Application ID as well as your login username.

MAUTECH Post UTME Screening Date.

Candidates will be contacted via SMS for the date, time and venue of their screening. Eligible candidates are advised to report at the University on designated dates for the exercise.

Note:

i) You are required to present the originals of your relevant credentials (O level results, JAMB result/acknowledgment slip, A’ level results as applicable to you.).

ii) Photocopies of all results presented will be submitted at the center.

iii) The photocopy of O’level certificate/statement of result(s) will be accompanied by appropriate utility card (scratch card for accessing result) of the examination body.

iv) You are to submit photocopy of indigene letter, certificate of birth/declaration of age and a copy of the printed post UTME application form.

IBBU Post UTME/DE Application Form is Out – 2016/17

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, IBBU Post UTME application form for the 2016/2017 academic session is out. IBBU minimum cut-off mark is 180. IBBU doesn’t conduct any examination, instead, relative merit will be strictly applied in the context of the quality of O’/A’Level Results and UTME Score.
Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, IBBU, Lapai, does not intend to conduct Post UTME Examination. The policy is rather to confirm and authenticate the credentials of candidates before admission. Arrangements have been concluded with all Examination Bodies to verify all candidates’ results.
IBBU Result Submission/Screening Process.
Note 1All UTME prospective candidates are to check/verify their eligibility for the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University UTME O’Level results screening/verification exercise.DE candidates should skip the above step and click on the DE link below.
Note 2.Successful prospective candidate that have met the minimum requirement are to print the payment permission slip with banks details on it OR make payment online via Interswitch WebPAY.
Note 3The prospective candidate is required to make a payment of either; THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NAIRA ONLY (N 3,800 : 00 K) – if submitting only ONE(1) O’LEVEL RESULT & SEVEN THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED NAIRA ONLY (N 7,300 : 00 K) – if submitting TWO(2) O’LEVEL RESULT. The amount includes bank transaction charges.
IBBU Admission Screening Stages.
Stage 1: CANDIDATES ELIGIBILITY CHECK:
• Enter their JAMB Registration Number to confirm if they are eligible. If eligible;
• Enter their mobile phone number & select the number of result(s) to submit (Maximum of 2 sittings for O’Level results).
• A transaction ID/invoice will be generated for the candidate. The candidate is to select preferred payment option (Interswitch Branch Collect OR Interswitch webPAY).
Stage 2: PAYMENT:
• If Branch Collect is selected, a transaction ID/invoice slip will be generated to be printed out and taken to any of the following banks for payment via Interswitch platform(Fidelity Bank, Heritage Bank, Keystone Bank, Skye Bank, Sterling Bank, Unity Bank, United Bank of Africa). Other banks will be listed subsequently.
• If webPAY is selected as the preferred payment option, the candidate will be re-directed to Interswitch webPAY page to make the payment online
• Further details on how to use the Interswitch payment platform is available on the UTME Result Screening Portal.
Stage 3: RESULT SUBMISSION:
Candidates who have completed the second stage of the screening should proceed to the third stage upon receiving their payment confirmation SMS (text message). They are to log into the portal using the details send to them in the SMS (text message). Candidates are advised to correctly input their results and any other requested information on the portal. Candidates may after submission print out their submission acknowledgement slip for personal reference only.
