A mixed primary school re-opened in Gwoza, Borno state, on Friday, September 18, the Nigerian military said.
The army spokesperson made this known on Saturday in Abuja. The school is mainly set to cater for the children of returnees and other displaced people in the area.
“Already, classes have commenced and the turnout was quite impressive. Gradual restoration of normalcy by troops is therefore indicative of continuous elimination of the terrorists from Nigerian territory.”
