The authorities of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka have assured the public that high standard measures will be employed in the conduct of it’s 2015/2016 post UTME and admissions. According to the Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the university, Dr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, the university’s Vice chancellor Prof. Joseph Eberendu Ahaneku made this known while presiding over a meeting of Deans and Directors of the university Friday.
Also, while appreciating the efforts of Deans and Directors of the university in the conduct of the second semester examination which is a huge success, Prof. Ahaneku also briefed them on the JAMB policies for this 2015/2016 academic year. He said there would not be room for fraudsters who dupe candidates and their parents. The Vice-Chancellor also informed them that this year’s screening test for new students will be done in such a way that admission racketeers will be thrown out of job as always.
Also, the Vice-Chancellor assured the University community of strong and fair leadership where no one will be victimized for holding any opinion different from that of University Management. The Vice-Chancellor also warned the university staff against extorting money or any other thing from the students as anyone caught will be disciplined.
