Immediately after being sworn in as the governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike informed public that he appoints Justice Daisy Okocha as the Chief Judge of the state.
Another important decision made by the new Rivers state governor is the reinstatement of lecturers of the Rivers state University of Science and Technology, sacked by Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi’s governing body.
Besides that, Wike also ordered that all the state owned courts, that suspened work, should be opened again immediately.
