Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, has cancelled its National Diploma (ND) pass certificate to raise academic standards and make students more committed to their studies.

Pass grade certificates have been cancelled at theNacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, to make students face their academics with more seriousness.
The proprietor of the institution,David Abuluya, announced the development on Wednesday in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.
Abuluya said the aim of cacelling the National Diploma (ND) pass certificate is to improve the academic standards.
“This decision will not only improve on the standard of education but will also make students to brace up and face their studies squarely," he said.
"It will also make the members of the public have confidence in the institution for the overall development of the country.
He also advised students to shun vices.
“Cultism, examination malpractice and other social vices had affected our lives, the education sector and the socio-economic development of the country negatively."
Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, is a privately-owned institution.
