Photo: Suspects Of Oyingbo Robbery Busted By Vigilante Group

Vigilante Group in Oyingbo area has busted the the armed robbery gang that raided Oyingbo market.
According to Punch, the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected robber, Saliu John, on the Old Apapa Road, Oyingbo, after allegedly dispossessing some market women of about N28,000.
Punch correspondent learnt that John, who was said to have come to the area with two others, was nabbed by members of a vigilante group after he reportedly
missed his way after the operation. John and other accomplices had suddenly become separated, forcing the suspect to hide behind a tanker parked on the road.
It was learnt that some local security men later sighted him there. Punch Metro learnt that John, who was arrested at about 9pm on Monday, was questioned by the security men and he told them that he had come to do business in the area from Ijora, after which he missed his way.
When the suspect was, however, searched, the vigilance group members were said to have found different purses containing money, arousing the suspicion of the security men that John allegedly attacked some market women.
The suspect was said to have been taken to the Iponri Police Division on Tuesday. A member of the vigilance service executive, identified only as Musibau, told Punch Metro that John’s three-man gang usually came from the Ijora area to rob on Jones, Atitebi and
neighbouring streets on the Old Apapa Road. Musibau added that when John could not account for the cash found on him, the security men knew he was a robber.
He said: “It was at about 8.30pm on Monday. The robber was hiding behind a tanker parked by the roadside. It was a security man at a hotel nearby who noticed the stranded robber and alerted the vigilance group.
“When we searched him, we found purses containing
sums of N1,500, N3,000, N2,500 among others, which added up to around N28,000.
He could not give account of where he got the purses. He initially lied that he was coming from the Ijora area to do business and he had missed his way. “Later, he confessed to robbery, and we held him until the morning when policemen from Iponri came to take him away.
The hoodlums have a culture of robbing women who are returning from markets in the evening. They would attack them with broken bottles and clubs and collect their day’s sales. “We learnt that the suspect came with two others who had escaped, but he got separated from them and was left behind.
We did not find any weapon on John. But he came from the Ijora Badia, Apapa area.” A resident, identified only as Kareem, said the gang also stole the batteries of two cars parked on Atitebi Street.
Punch learnt that the vigilance group and the police were making efforts to track the two other suspected robbers. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, promised to get back on the incident. He, however, had yet to do so as of press time.

While making love regularly increases your immunity, it also acts as a great form of exercise. There is absolutely no doubt that making love is an incontrovertible part of our life.
Beyond pleasure, there are several health benefits of making love. Such as, an active s-x life is also the key to staying young and living longer, etc. These and more are some of the most amazing health benefits of making love. Read on if you care to know more about them.
Here I will try to discuss 10 amazing health benefits of making love. You may like this!
10 Amazing Health Benefits of Making Love:
1. It Helps You Sleep Better.
The sleep that you get just after you’ve made love will be much more relaxed. Getting a good night’s sleep will make you feel alert and overall healthy.
One of the brain’s stress-relieving chemicals, oxytocin, is released during making love. That oxytocin does not only increase endorphins and decrease pain, but it can also help put you to sleep. “S-x, and feeling loved, decreases stress, which makes worries disappear and allows you to fall into a deep sleep.”
It also involves muscle contractions and movement that deplete the body of energy, allowing it to be flooded with those feel-good, soothing hormones.
2. It Burns Calories.
Making love is a great form of exercise and helps burn those stubborn calories.
Studies suggest that making love on a regular basis is as good as pumping some iron in the gym. Also, it involves muscular movement of the thighs, legs, arms, shoulders and lower abdomen which equals a total body workout.
The average session burns about 150 calories, comparable to an easy yoga session or a walk. It’s a nice exercise. It burns calories, especially if it is doing by a variety of styles and position. Making love is a good way to lose weight.
3. It Boosts Your Immune System.
Making love just once or twice a week has been linked to having higher levels of an antibody called immunoglobulin, which can increase your protection from colds and other infections by up to 30 percent.
4. It Keeps You Young.
There’s no doubt that an active romantic life makes couples live a happy and longer life.
Research suggests that regular lovemaking allows the release of endorphins and boosts the skin’s production of vitamin D, which in turn makes one look and feel young.
5. It Helps to Get Relieves From Stress.
A big health benefit of making love is lower blood pressure and overall stress reduction, according to researchers from Scotland who reported their findings in the journal Biological Psychology.
They studied 24 women and 22 men who kept records of their sexual activity. Researchers found that it helps to get relieves from stress.
6. It Helps to Improve Fertility
Frequent s-x regulates menstrual cycles, which makes conception easier. Orgasm is a fact here which actually assists with fertilization. All those of you who are planning to become mommies anytime soon, here’s good news!
According to report, better s.ex leads to better chances of conception (Yay). The best way to achieve this is by not treating it like a chore; instead better the quality of s-x to increase your chances of getting pregnant.
7. It Helps Fight Disease.
A good session of lovemaking helps in combating a lot of diseases in both men and women.
You will be surprised to know that making love reduces the risk of cancer, heart diseases and even common cold.
8. It Helps to Reduce Pain.
Making love is a nice natural pain reducer. According to studies, vaginal stimulation may lead to increased pain tolerance which in turn has the power to ease out pain during periods, arthritis and migraine.
As the hormone oxytocin surges, endorphins increase, and pain declines. For chronic pain sufferers, forget about popping toxic pain pills, s-x is the way to go.
Migraines and chronic back pain have been shown to be reduced, thanks to these incredible natural healers. S-x wards off the flu and colds. A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.
9. It Helps Women More Beautiful
It helps women to be more beautiful. During making of love, women produce the estrogen hormone in significant amounts.
These hormones can make women’s skin smoother and makes hair becomes shiny. Sweat that released during s-x can cleanse the pores and make skin glow.
Beside that, sexual relationships can increase the amount of pheromone in the body that can make a woman look more beautiful and attractive.
10. It Promotes Overall Well-Being
If you are comfortably happy, then be assured that nothing else can challenge your health. And s-x has the capacity to promote the overall well-being of a couple.
A steamy session powered by s-x can easily perk up your mood and keep you in a happy zone.
Researches shows that a positive relationship significantly improves the overall health and well- being. Happily married couples are less likely to develop health problems such as cancer and heart failure, and will live longer on average.
Your body will experience a whole roller coaster of hormones during s-x and reminisce afterwards. The main hormone is oxytocin, also known as the hormone of love is called.
This particular hormone is important for binding and cherish with your partner and will be released when you’re hugging and have contact with your partner.

My husband disappeared after our wedding night (true life story)

It is a fact that women are like flowers that withers at night time. A man on the other hand can be liken to wine, he gets better by the season and best when it is old. No wonder, the wine is best served when it is old.
My case can be liken to the flowers because l am a woman and l have an expiry date. I have been married for twenty years and in those twenty years; I slept with my husband only once.
Unfortunately, l didn’t take-in and I wish l had
because I would have been consoled. Yes I would have been a happy person because the story won’t be told this way.
My name is Ufuoma and like the name explains, l am from that part of Nigeria where married women must stay faithful to their vows or face the consequence. The culture doesn’t care if she is not getting any show at all.
So it has been terrible and excruciating for me all
these years. It is not because I would naturally have gone out of my matrimonial bed, but because my husband hasn’t been home in a long, long while and while he was here, l only slept with him on my wedding night.
I had thought about it and each time I decide to end the union, he would beg that I wait for awhile. It is twenty years today, l am close to breaking point and his family members are not helping matters…

9 Reasons Why Biting Your Nails Can Seriously Harm You [MUST READ]

Nail biting usually occurs when a person is suffering from stress, anxiety, or nervousness. Such feelings trigger the person to automatically chew on the nails to attain calmness. Now, is it the only way to calm yourself, or is their any alternative solutions? Of course there are. And before we answer that, here are the horrifying facts that will explain why you should stop biting your nails.

1. Your nails are full of germs.
No matter how many times you wash your hands, germs will still live under your fingernails. Because among all other body parts, your hands, meaning your fingers which have nails, come into contact with surfaces of all types. The thing is, your fingers may stay clean, but your nails aren’t. So when you are biting your nails, you are also biting on the earthly bacteria, germs, yeast, etc. Yum!

2. You are transferring the bacteria into your mouth.
So what happens after chewing on your delicious germs and bacteria? You are carting them from your nails to your mouth. Once they are inside your mouth, they will eventually enter your digestive system. In 2007, a group of Turkish scientists experimented on 59 people, combined of nail biters and non-nail biters, to see whether they transport bacteria to the mouth. After swabbing each person’s saliva, the results were quite alarming. 76% actually transported E. coli, and similar germs, compared to 26.5% of non biters. E.coli is responsible for diarrhea and vomiting.

3. In extreme case, you can end up with oral STIs.
It is not only commuting E.coli and other bacteria, in extreme cases, you may end up with oral STIs. If you are a nail biter, and one fine day you notice herpes, or blisters on your lips, don’t fret. They are the results of your nail bacteria that you have successfully transferred to your mouth.

4. From bacteria in your mouth to dental damage.

When you are constantly gnawing down your nails, your teeth are clicking together. This results in tooth fracture, tooth chips, and in rare cases, tooth loss.

5. For biters who wear braces, brace yourself!
Those of you who wear braces, you are risking yourself into tooth resorption, meaning your body cells are reabsorbing its own cells, and tissues. There is also a possibility that your braces might break down which would force you to undergo expensive and potentially painful dental treatment.

6. You’ll end up having stinky breath.
Stinky breath occurs due to bacteria in your mouth and saliva. When you are continuously biting your nails and transferring different bacteria, they are prone to permanently stay inside your mouth. This leads to stinky breath, which, no matter how many times you wash your mouth with fresheners, the foul breath will never go away

7. You may have pus in your fingernails.
What happens when you bite your nails? You leave the nail bed exposed. Bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus, can enter the open pores and build pus around the nails, causing nail abnormality. This pus is a horrible business. It can be cured through pills, or has to be drained out through surgery.

8. Polish your nails, but don’t eat them!
Nails look beautiful with nail polishes. But if you are prone to eat them, then stop using them. Because polishes contain harmful chemicals, and some varnishes contain formaldehyde, the chemical that is used to embalm dead bodies. If this information isn’t enough scary to put you off, then I don’t know what is.

9. In the end, your nails will never grow back to normal.
Nails are formed on nail beds, and never-ending biting will eventually ruin your nail bed. Your once long nails will gradually shorten, and at one point, will no longer grow any further. The nail’s surface will tear off as well, looking awful, and embarrassing for you to publicly show off.

So, how can you ever stop?
Now, you know what harm you are doing to yourself through this horrendous activity. Previously, I have mentioned that there are solutions to stop biting nails. Well, first of all, try to stay relaxed and avoid too much stress and frustration. If you can’t, or not allowed to, then indulge yourself to physical exercise/activities that releases stress. You can go for manicures. That will make you feel guilty of spoiling your beautifully trimmed, polished nails. Put some nail polish and imagine the harm you are doing by biting into the varnishes.

And if you really want to chew on something then try sugar-free chewing gum. They might help you! Just stay away from biting your beautiful nails because when you do that it shows how anxious you stay all day. In public places with people around, it might not be a pretty sight.

What's the excess of having high score in JAMB and also in post-UTME?

"Having high score doesn't mean you would be admitted to your choice of institution. Why are we being deprived of our right to education just because of corruption?
"I thought at first that the University of Ilorin stands out of other institutions because it doesn't cheat.
"Imagine an aspirant that studied all day and night just to pass JAMB, and fortunately, she did pass, same as for the post-UTME, and she is now waiting for the admission list.
"She hoped that if truly the first batch would be based on the merit list, her name would be included. But it isn't.

"The question now is: is that truly a merit list? Because I see no reason why an aspirant with 72% in the post-UTME would not be offered admission.

"Hoping that everything would be fine, she waited again for the second list to be released. Again, this aspirant's name wasn't on the list.
"And when those in charge of the admission process were asked why, their response was: "The girl has a case with them". What case an aspirant that hasn't been offered admission could have? Why are the poor always deprived of their rights, especially in the education field?"

BOMBSHELL!!! Buhari Received N850M Through His PA’s Access Bank Account No 0045586381 – DasukiGate

A new twist to the ongoing investigation of the $2.1bn arms contract scandal may soon unfold as associates of the embattled former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki have revealed President Mohammadu Buhari got a sum of N850 million through his Personal Assistant, Sabi’u Yusuf.

They asked; “How did his nephew who has never worked in his life accumulate over N850 million in his bank account (0045586381) in a new generation bank?”
Our investigation revealed that the account number 0045586381 is domiciled in Access Bank and is owned by Sabi’u Yusuf.
Dasuki’s associates had threatened to make public a proof that those denying to have benefitted from the money actually collected the amounts ticked against their names.

They said it was shocking that some politicians would deny ever having anything to do with the ex- NSA and his office when there is a record to show that they received the money.

Addressing some newsmen on Saturday, three of Dasuki’s friends and associates claimed that they were prepared to build up graphic cases against those denying receiving either material or cash gifts from the former NSA.
The associates, who pleaded for anonymity, said that apart from a comprehensive subpoena of individuals and their proxies, who received financial and material gifts but have turned round to deny ever doing so, said they were considering releasing recorded video of all transactions.

“Some people are shamelessly telling indefensible lies. We have witnesses and recordings of these visits. A man received two retired army officers in his private sitting room, called his nephew to collect the bag and would thereafter say he saw nothing, heard nothing. This is very laughable.

“Let them cover what they think they could, and we would certainly spill the beans for Nigerians to see their hypocrisy.
“All of us would meet in court. But before then if they keep denying, we would release some clips on both YouTube and other forms of social media for the world to see their nakedness,” the one of the associates who led media interaction said.

Dasuki and some prominent Nigerians including Chairman of Daar Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, former governor of Sokoto state, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa are facing trial over their alleged involvement in the arms contracts funds bazaar.
